IME 2025, the Investment Management Exhibition, ran across two days at the Hilton Frankfurt City Centre in November 2025. AVE Events delivered the audio, video and stage package for the main conference room.

The brief
A two-day conference in a single hotel ballroom, alternating panel sessions with back-to-back presentations. Delegates sat at round tables, and speakers arrived from several countries with a deck each. The room had to hold the event identity whenever nothing else was on screen, then move to a speaker’s slides and back again, without a gap anyone noticed.

The constraint that made it hard
Every presenter’s laptop had to reach the same screen. The control position ran those machines through a preview and program workflow on an eight-input video switcher, so the next deck was cued and checked before it appeared in the room. Audio ran from a tablet-controlled digital console, with wireless handhelds and headsets shared between the panel and the lectern.
